Raise score 15 pts in a month?? Forum

Am I totally effed if I am scoring really low on my pt's right now taking the test on Oct 9th?? Is it possible to raise it at least 10 points preferrably 15?? Having trouble in particular with logic games - the section kills my score, I run out of time.

Just going off practice tests, it took me a few months to get from the lower 150's and upper 140's to the mid 150's.

With games it is the most likely section to improve where you can get 10 points quickly. That being said, it is still highly unlikely, though more likely than if it were RC or LR. If you don't think you did well you can always cancel and retake or just see your score and retake. Remember that almost every school just cares about your top score and you can take the test three times every two years.

Took me ~1.5 months to go from 148 to 157 - most of the improvement came from LG.

If you're seriously banking on 15 points I would cancel soon and prepare for December. 15 pts by Oct. 9th would be very difficult. Just remember you have to cancel 3 weeks ahead of time or you will automatically get a cancel/absent (unless of course you end up taking it).

it's highly unlikely, but if I were you, I'd try. If you find that you still aren't testing anywhere near where you want to be then cancel/ or don't show up on test day. Have you tried the LG Bible? I didn't use it (LG is not my weak spot) but I've heard really good things about it.

No. You may never improve 15 points. But if you are going to, it's going to take 3-4 months at least.

You don't need to cancel the test. Just move it to a next test date. Rescheduling costs about $35. Better to pay $35 than having a disappointing score.
