The older LG's seem poorly worded and the writing style is less comfortable for me to read.

Does anyone else feel this way?

They've definitely evolved, and, IMO, improved.

Assume you mean LR, not LG. Haven't done the more recent ones yet, but in the older ones I've spotted a few that were worded pretty awkward, but nothing horrific.

Just did PT 48, and man were there so many nitpicky questions and answer choices - way more than usual. Hope this doesn't get worse in the 50's.

New LR is I think easier than old. This is because the stock wrong and right answers are more prevalent and the wording allows for a better diagnostic of choosing the right/wrong question. Older LR was often confusing and very complex to me. It seems to me like they took RC and replaced it with LR type questions and made LR much more plain jane.

What PT's do the LR start getting that much simpler?

for those of you that think that the newer LR questions are easier than the older, what do you mean by 'new' and 'old?' I ask because I am going through PTs in the early 40s right now (just did 43 today).

For me it was pt 58 59 60. I only got 1 or 0 questions wrong on LR section on all of these tests.

50-57 might be more modern/simple also but I was stupid and I took 50-57 as some of my first tests to prep with, so I might not have done as well on them as I would have if I practiced on the earlier PT's first and then came to the modern LR sections.

The stimulus are the same. The difference is that the questions are overly wordy and often less effectively relay what you are supposed to do. There is ons i came across a while back that use the phrase "not strengthen" (i.e. weaken) and refers to a specific premise, which in turn actually strengthened the conclusion. So, it was a weird mix of weaken on a premise to strengthen the conclusion and method of reasoning question. Further the question was 30 words long. I spent almost 5 minutes figuring it out. It was from PT 3 or 4. These days nothing like that exists. thankfully.

This is absolute MUSIC to my ears. Oh thank god. I'm finding the 40s to be difficult, and I found the 1-20s to be easy.

I found the LR to have gotten easier too, but that might've been due to the fact I did the PTs in order (so I got more practice by the time I got to the 50s)

I find that the 40s seem to be when this transition happens for LR LG RC. 30s PTs i would be getting -8+ all the time, 43 and 46 I got -3 and -4, along with a -3 combined on 43 LR...
