Quick Conditional Question

I just have a quick question regarding on how to diagram this statement:

Unless they find an eyewitness and put the defendant on the stand, they will lose the case.

According to PS, the answer is LC --> FE and DS. However, with "unless," "without," and "except" I thought you had to negate the sufficient condition making it LC --> FE and DS. I would appreciate any attempts to clarify this.

You are correct, I don't know why the book did it that way.

Thanks. Not the first error I've found in a PS Bible, but it's still good to make sure.
