Can someome please show me how they set up the first game? And how you arrived at answer 2?

Got the third game all correct, but would you make two different set ups one where Y is in fourth and then one where W is in fourth and just plug in the rules? For some reason I spent a lot of tiem on this game.

The 4th game, is that considered an in/out game? Anyways any advice on this game would be appreciated as I really struggled with it.
