i just wanted to ask something about exactly when the newer lsat came in-
i think it's at Number 46 (PT 46 in June 2005)
is this right?

Yeah that's right. OP might also be talking about how LG has gotten easier and I think I heard LR has gotten harder, but from my understanding this has been much more gradual than anything like the sudden addition of comparative to RC, so there wouldn't be a specific test where LG or LR was much different from the last few.
