need one by October, so wondering what you guys reccomend

You want one with a rotating bezel so you don't have to adjust the little dial every time.

I got this one because it seems like it fit the description and it's cheap:

That's actually the same watch I recommend (link includes further details on the rotating bezel, as well as a similar watch for the ladies).

That watch was just a normal watch that went from 0-35. So you'd still have to adjust the dial every time, and the only benefit is that you wouldn't have to convert "1" to "5"

You know, I bought a watch with a rotating bezel, and I ended up never using the feature. It takes me less time to just adjust the minute hand back to 12. Also, you never get confused as to whether you set the bezel right, and you never have to start a section from some random ass place like 40 minutes after.

This one worked really well for me. It was occasionally difficult to make out the time, but overall the benefits far outweigh the cons of this watch.

I bought the LSAT analog watch that you asked about. It was a very basic watch, but I felt like it did the job nicely. The stopper made it really easy to reset and the color coding made it easy to see how much time was left. It's particularly good for those that are compulsive time checkers.

Compulsive time checkers should probably learn to control that habit so that it gives them more time.

Well, it wasn't so much as saving time as preserving the mindset of being in the test without the distraction of figuring out how much time you had left. I felt the ease of the watch helped me keep track of time without interrupting the ~flow~ of the test, if that makes sense.

But yeah. I am one of those test takers that freaks out consistently about all the little things, so every corner counted

Will having the ability to rotate the minutes matter in terms of LSAT legality? Is this kind of watch allowed?

Hypothetically if you brought in a banned watch and the proctor didn't notice before the exam, would they then simply remove you from the test as you're taking it?

It just has to be analog. It's just in case some programming dude put notes in his digital watch.

The bezel is TCR. Remember to always practice with it.

Do you have to WEAR your watch during the test, or can you lay it down on the desk?
