These are my scores on practice tests...how much can i improve before Oct. 9?

1.) PrepTest 22: 164
2.) PrepTest 21: 170
3.) PrepTest 23: 164
4.) PrepTest 25: 164
5.) PrepTest 33: 176
6.) PrepTest 38: 167
7.) June '07 Exam: 166

I went through all 3 PS bibles starting in april. I did the grouped by type for PT's 1-20 for Games and LR. I start an atlas online class today and plan take two preptest and review mistakes every three days.

Is this extreme variance from 164 to 176, and then back down to 166 normal for the first few PTs?

edit: and just to be clear... i did all my Powerscore and "grouped by type" studying before I began practice tests.

IF you got a 176, you obviously have the potential. You just need to work on consistency. Make sure you're getting a -0/-1 on LG.

You can improve as much as you want to.

Good luck!

Is anyone's experience similar to my own?

Yeah man. I hit a 177 a few weeks back and haven't come close since. I keep making careless errors.

Has anyone ever overcome this problem?

Just about everyone that has a good score.

Work on accuracy first, then get timing down. Getting the section down inside 35 minutes is worthless if you're still making careless errors. Start at 40 or 45 minutes per section, fix the careless errors then reduce the time by two minutes a test until you can do it inside 35 mins.
