This is embarrassing. I can usually figure this crap out. However, I'm at a loss.

The setup is two rows, 6 seats (below):

G: _ _ _
1 2 3
H: _ _ _
1 2 3

1.) Every member sits adjacent to and in the same row as another member.
2.) T and U sit in row H.
3.) S and U sit in lower numbered seats than does T.
4.) R sits in a row with Q, S or both.
5.) R sits in a set numbered 2.

Question #13 (Which could be true?): I was stuck between A and B.

A.) Seat G3 is empty.

G: S R _
H: U T/Q Q/T

Obviously possible. However:

B.) Seat H2 is empty.

G: S R Q
H: U _ T

seems equally possible.

I know I'm not smarter than the people who wrote this test. Can someone tell me what I'm missing?

TITCR. T and U can't have an empty seat between them. Is that the only question you got wrong from missing that rule? Seems like there'd be more than one.

I didn't get this one wrong, actually. I only got 16 wrong (from the same section). I think I misread "Consecutively numbered seats within each row are adjacent" to mean that seats with the same number in opposite rows are adjacent. For some reason, I thought T was adjacent to Q in my hypothetical (below). Thus, I thought the rule was properly applied.

G: S R Q
H: U _ T

This was the easiest game of the section and I missed one because I thought adjacent applied vertically and horizontally. Stuff like this is keeping me in the lower 170s.

Thanks for the replies.
