Just curious.

2 ish. More on the weekends.

about 6-7 a day. I'm at the point where I enjoy it.

2-4. I started studying at the beginning of this month and will probably amp it up to average 4 the next couple of months.

I'd say I'm averaging around 3-5 at this point. Less on the days when I work. Once I get into it, I find it hard to stop lol.

~20 / week with Monday and Friday off

I'm studying 4 hrs 5 days a week but starting August 9, It will be 8 hours 5 days a week.

Its not how long you study, its what you do during that time. If youre just reading or just taking practice tests without putting what you read to use or going over your practice tests, youre not doing anything worthwhile. Its very important to go over whatever you did and understand why you go it right/wrong. This often takes longer than doing the actual questions did, but its so important that you do this.

Aren't you afraid of running out of material?

Right now, I'm studying for 1-2 hours a day. I plan to step it up to 2-3 hours next week.

Subtract 2-3 hours from all responses and you probably have an accurate answer.

Right now, I'm studying for 1-2 hours a day. I plan to step it up to 2-3 hours next week.

Not really actually. I've saved ~30 PTs. I spend a lot of time drilling and reading the LRB. Like to internalize a lot of the material. It never even feels like I spend that much time daily. Now that I think about it 4-7 hours is a more accurate range.

Today I did about 3.5 hours but I have work tonight.

I'm having a harder time getting motivated simply because I seriously am doubting whether or not I actually want to be a lawyer

lol, funny. It's not because of salary, it's because I seriously think I might hate it.

3-4 hours four to five days a week.

Patriot: I'm having the same trouble. I worked as a paralegal and I f-ing hated it...
Anyway, that said, I'm hoping for a high score and then I'll make the choice. Anything under a 167 and I think I'm going to call it quits on LS. I'm strictly looking at the LSAT as a game and not even thinking about the end result. Its been helping, too. Self doubt can be really destructive for studying.

I think you'd find it even worse if you learned that your salary might not cover your student debt.

Hahahahahahaha hours a day? I'm lucky if I do 6 a week. Sometimes I don't even do full tests, just a section here and there.

I'm on easy street for this test after the fiasco of over studying for the last one. I just decided I knew the material and wasn't going to get much out of hyper studying except possibly another panic attack on test day. I've been shocked how much better my PT scores have been because of it (PTed at 167 yesterday, a point above my average). What's really helped me (besides not stressing) is ever since June I've knocked 5 minutes off each time I do a PT or PT section. 30 minutes instead of 35. It gave me problems at first, but now I can finish all the questions most of the time with the same level of accuracy. My biggest issue last time was timing, so this is a really big warm fuzzy for me.

I'll probably get a little more intensive when it gets closer and I definitely think I'd be struggling if I hadn't prepped so much last time, but for now easy street has actually been more profitable than studystudystudy street. Beach this weekend, woot!

5-6 a day. It becomes normal once you make it your routine.

I read an article last week that was investigating why so many people were applying to law school considering the fact that the demand for associates is down. Law firms can't get away with billing $300.00 for fresh meat anymore. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the publication. It isn't a source I read frequently. My boss is a subscriber and he showed me the article as a joke because he knows I'm going to law school.

After reading the artcile, I made up my mind. I'm definitely doing the 4 year program (JD and a masters in economics).

jeez yall. I haven't started studying yet, I'm getting the bibles this weekend and kickin things into gear (this is my 3rd time taking but first time really giving it my full attention). I was planning on really just studying for about an hour a day during the weekdays and then probably 5 hours on saturday and 5 hours on sunday.... it seems like everyone is blowing that out of the water! maybe I need to reevaluate my study plan

I've been told that its better to keep a consistent schedule than overload your weekends.

I'm going to have a really hectic week esp. once school starts. it's kind of the best I can do I may be able to sacrifice 2 hours during the weekdays if I do one in the morning and one at niight.

anyone want to post their goals? also, if you've already taken, what you've gotten?

I average between 2-3 a day, 6-7 days a week. If I have more time, I spend more time studying. I also work full time. Those who study more, is this your full time job? How do you prevent burnout / loss of material?
