Can you please diagram this for me?

"You will be happy only if you are noticed"

I diagrammed it as Happy --> Noticed but the solutions to the question diagrammed it as Noticed --> Happiness so I am uncertain now.

You are correct. The solutions are wrong.

What solutions are you using?

I'm happy only if I'm noticed. = My happiness requires being noticed.

Happy -> Noticed

"Only if" is a necessary condition indicator.

You most certainly have it right. I'm not sure what "solutions" you are looking at, but it is definitely incorrect.

In the McGraw Hill 2010 book, it diagrammed it incorrectly. I guess I shouldn't be surprised given how terrible the book is in general.

The question and its "explanation"

Aside from that, there's the issue that the book characterizes this as a Strengthen question when the question stem is one of a Necessary Assumption question. I haven't looked at the question itself, though. There may be other problems with it.

That book is absolutely horrible! Many years ago I made the mistake of getting the M/H book on Games (before I had ever heard of Powerscore) thinking the books sold by the prep companies in the bookstore would probably be the same approach.....wrong!

If I remember, this book has like 3 or 4 typos in the diagramming in the first 10 pages alone. It's been a long time since I've looked at that book (2006?), but I remember the game about lights on/off having several typo errors for diagramming which was very frustrating because I didn't have any foothold on games at the time.

Fortunately, when I went online to see if this book had a bad reputation, it sure enough did, and that's where I found out about the Powerscore LGB. Of course if you get it, be sure to actually read through and practice with it (something I didn't) and I paid the high price.
