hey guys
so i took the june LSAT and I didn't do as well as I wanted, i got a 157.
So instead of cramming to take it again in october, I have decided to take a year off to reflect and maybe work after college to try and build my resume for law school

so what I am asking you guys is during this break that I am going to take, what can I do besides actually study for the LSAT to help me for my skills?

I will obviously be studying before a few months before I take it, but what can I do in the meantime to improve certain skills that would help me greatly on the LSAT?

This question gets asked every single day. You can find a lot information if you just search the forums.

The best way to improve on the LSAT is to keep practicing. Use the PowerScore books to build a foundation, then follow with preptest. You should start with #19 and progress up to #59.

Since you did not give any clue as to what sections gave you the most trouble, no one will be able to give specific info/help.

You would probably be doing yourself a disservice if you don't study for 6 months prior to the test. The best way to improve at LG and LR is to simply do problems from past LSATs. RC is probably the same way, although some people recommend reading dense material to prepare yourself for the frequently boring passages the LSAT provides. There is a forum search on this website where you can find an excellent thread about how to prepare for the LSAT, try that.
