PT 21 LR, what is going on here?

I've been working on the PTs chronologically, trying to get better at my timing. On games/RC, over the last 3 preptests, I've been under the 35 min mark, missing -1/-2 on games and -2/-3 on RC.
LR has been a bear, though. I usually find my focus shot and struggle to get done anywhere near 35 minutes. Actively reading the stimuli becomes laborious and stupid mistakes do me in pretty well. Last few sections have been -7/-7/-4/-4
from PTs 19/20.
Then I get to PT 21 LR#1. For whatever reason, the questions/stimuli didn't seem all that rough as the previous sections and I was able to keep my active reading focus. I managed to clock myself under the 35 limit, and ended up missing only #17 (combination of missing the alternate cause/misread conclusion). My previous low was -2 and that was untimed, so I was kind of puzzled here if this section was just an anomaly. (I haven't done LR#2 yet, maybe they front loaded that?). When I went back to review the section, there wasn't really much that gave me an issue that normally does. The right answers seemed to stand out. So much so I thought something had to be up.
Has anyone else whose done this PT section experienced similar?
