Depends on your instructor, how much of the homework you keep up with. I took a testmaster course and wound up with a 165, after doing a their diag and getting a 150 (before them, I took a school-sponsored course which only helped me go from 145 to 150). If you do the course, do all of the drills and homework, and (if you aren't quite where you'd want to be) save and use spare/new PTs for practice post-course you should be set; if I had done that last part, I might've scored higher but que sera sera.

I repeat, however, the instructor quality helps. I took a small course in Tallahassee (~10) which I feel helped. I talked to people who took the course in Gainesville and Miami (which were bigger) who had mixed feelings.
