Hoping someone has some insight ...

Feb 2010--Cancel
June 2010--166

I know the limit for taking the LSAT is 3 times in a two year period, but technically, the Oct 9th LSAT coming up is more than two years after my first. Does anyone know if LSAC would let that fly? It's been a frustrating test for me because I know I can score in the 170s, and I'd like to try one more time (if anything for the sake of proving that I can).

My evil plan would be to send my LOR's and LSAT scores to schools in September and then sign up for the Oct LSAT after. Does anyone know if this would work??? My logic is it can't hurt if I score a 170 and then re-send my LSAT scores (and I wont score below 166).

Again, I know it sounds crazy to take it for a fourth time, but I would really like one more opportunity.

id say your logic is sub par and bad form. If you were wise you would ED a few reach school with your 166 and then get your other applications in asap. It just seems like your wasting your time, or you really enjoy studying for the LSAT which= lame.

I wouldn't necessary call it "bad form," I just wanted to see if anyone else has ever taken a fourth LSAT. Ultimately, I have to call LSAC and ask them about it next week.

I do plan on applying ED and getting all of my apps in super early. I just don't see how taking it again could hurt me if I score a few points higher, but I was hoping someone might have some insight into whether LSAC/law schools are ok with it.
