Law schools don't make a distinction between June and October LSAT scores.

All exams are equated.

When it comes to the rolling admissions process, however, those who take in June (and don't decide to retake) are able to apply at the very beginning of the admission cycle in the fall.

Those who take in October can't apply at the very beginning of the cycle, but they can still apply relatively early.

All tests are curved according to their difficulty. No exam is easier than another. LSATextreme probably said this because this question has been asked numerous times. The June LSAT was hard, but its difficulty was accounted for in the scores.
