Are prep test 1-6 available for purchase?

Yes, 2-6 are in TriplePrep 1 and TriplePrep 2 (out-of-print, available used on Amazon).

PrepTests 1 and 8 are in Kaplan's Endurance Practice coursebook (available used on Amazon)

cambridgelsat.com also has them available as digital files for purchase to print out.

I just checked it out.

Endurance only has 8!

It does have PrepTest 1.

It's simply broken into its 4 separate sections throughout the book to serve as experimental sections for other exams

Look at the end of each exam in the Endurance book, and it will tell you which section that exam uses as an experimental.

Every released LSAT is useful.

Of course, the older it is, the less useful it is. (This applies to PrepTests, not people, for all you NonTrads out there!)

These exams are only worth using if you plan to do all the others, also. They're worth using if you have the time.

I've taken every single PT available. PT 1-59, PT A, B, and C + June2007.

PTs 1-6 will be the most useful if you haven't taken as many LSATs yet. What I found helpful with PT 1-6 is pacing. It helped me gain familiarity with the test to some extent, and I was able to gauge my speed after taking six of those tests. The major drawback was that these questions are obviously drastically different from how the LSAT is today. Some of those questions are borderline "weird," and if you're trying to find more practice because you've run out of PTs, I don't recommend using PT 1-6 as a good way to get practice.

Cambridge LSAT is awesome and all, but PT 1-6 is filled with numerous typographic errors, so you might want to consider that as well. PM me if you have more questions about these PTs.

Not really. I just bought the RC from them just for real LSAT practice but they won't be that valuable as far as taking them timed necessarily. You should get the 39-59 package that Cambridge offers.

+1 This is true, actually. 39-59 is probably the best way to go. I personally think that it's helpful to start around PT 30 as well, because the LGs in the early 30s are ridiculously difficult.
