JUNE LSAT 2010 - How do you feel about your score?

How did your score compare with your personal prediction of how well you did after the test? Also, are you happy with it? Anyone already planning a retake?

I felt horrible about the test and nearly cancelled, so I'm slightly relieved that I did better than I had expected. It's the bottom of my PT range though, and I know I am capable of more. 3 more correct and I would have hit my target score. Having to retake in October screws up my application plans, so that's frustrating. In summary, I feel like this:

Meh.

I feel very good about mine, (171), even though I left a question blank on LG (doh!)--- but I only missed 2 on the interns game even though I mis-read the rules at first... very thankful for that. I missed 4 on the first LR section, guess I wasn't really in the zone yet.
But all in all, I feel very good!

I predicted I would get somewhere around a 163-164, but actually ended up getting a 160, which is almost nothing over my cold diagnostic. In retrospect I should definitely have canceled, but now it's out of my hands. Time to start attacking the PS bibles and pretending that Kaplan didn't inadequately prepare me, or pretending that I never took the course altogether. Bleh.

This is very similar to me. I guessed on most of the LG and ended only getting -3 (not bad my average is -1 or -2), but I went -3 on the first LR which I thought i rocked hard core. I felt so awesome about it and thought for sure that section was a -0.
So all in all, it was not as bad as it could have been but not as good either.

I'll go.
I walked out of the test thinking I'd get a 168. Low and behold I got a 168. My highest PT was a 180, and my last 10 PT scores ranged between 172 - 180 (avg of about 174.) However, I just squeezed into late registration and only began prepping then. I think for the limited prep time that I gave myself, I should be happy. But dropping six down from my average is not really something to celebrate. I wonder if I had the opportunity to prep for the recommended 3 months if it would have really helped my nerves all that much.
Looking through the questions, I realize that this would have been a hard test for me even if I was just practicing. I just might have been able to catch my average in practice conditions. But the first logical reasoning section has some funky questions. That section did me in on this test.
Ideally, I would retake but I will be in a country with no testing centres for the next year and I would like to begin law school Sept 2011.
Congratulations to everyone for getting this far. Just taking the test is an accomplishment in itself. Good luck to you all in the next stage of what has to be called this rather agonizing process of law school admissions.

I'm suicidal. Five points lower than my worst PT. I was nervous...but didn't realize I was THAT nervous.

Our testing center messed up several times. During section one, they called "5 minutes" when there were really 10 minutes left, and did not announce the mistake until the end of the break. There was no clock in the room...They made a few other small errors as well and said that they'd be sending an official report to LSAC and that we could file one if we feel it affected our scores...Now my LSAT icons have gone from "not yet available" to "cannot be displayed". I am really hoping that this is because my personal information isn't released yet, and not because of the center's report..Can anybody enlighten me so that I can calm down and go back to my refresh fest, or start drinking now?

I feel terrible, was extremely nervous and changed about 3-4 answers at the last minute on almost all sections, which must have bombed me. I'm planning a re-take in October.

Okay, slightly neurotic moment..I've recovered! 171, all things said and done it's almost exactly where my PTs were......Missed 3 LG which is my average but significantly better than I thought I did on this test...Would have loved a 172 or higher but 171 is enough to keep me from re-testing.

I feel pretty good. My PT average was a 166 and I walked out thinking that it felt like a fairly normal test for me, so I expected to score at that average or within a point or two. Sure as heck I ended up with a 166. I do wish I had outperformed that average but I think it is fairly representative of where I was at.

I feel like I'm going to be one of those guys later on who gives encouragement to all those who have just taken the test and are convinced that they bombed it.
I almost canceled my test on the spot. I was convinced (CONVINCED) that I had bombed the games section (normally my best section) and that my score would be in the gutter. Walking out of the test, the first thing I said to my buddy was, "Well, looks like I'll be retaking in October." I spent a few days after the test debating whether to cancel, but decided to let it ride and see what I got. I was shooting for a 170, but was realistically expecting a 163-165 on this disaster.
I actually got a 170. And I did bomb games (-7). But the rest of my test was better than average (for me). Typically, reading comp is an automatic -5 (give or take a point or two); on the real test, it was a -1. I had never gotten better than a -4 on RC. I'll normally combine for about a -5 on LR; the actual was a -3.
So there you have it. If you do poorly on a section, put it out of your mind during the test and do your best on the section at hand. You might just make up for it. And obviously, think long and hard before canceling. Most schools take your highest score; you might be canceling a mediocre score, or you might be canceling a good score. Unless you're absolutely positive that you bombed the test, it seems like you're better off letting it ride.

I got a 157... I feel excessively disappointed. I was really sick and took the LSATs 4 days before what turned out to be a major surgery, so to be honest in that light I feel I could have done worse (but I still didn't do as well as I had hoped!)

I definitely got lucky on the real test. I averaged 174 on PT's, and the highest I ever made was a 179, which I only got once.
I felt like I had an average performance on test day, so I was expecting a 173-174, hoping for a 175-176. Ended up with a -0/-0/-0/-1 [LR/LR/RC/LG] for a 180. I attribute this to a) luck and b) hyper test day focus eliminating careless mistakes.
This was so unexpected, it's completely changing my approach to the cycle.
