Actual LSAT
I am just curious

hmm thats odd I heard that people usually get +/- their avg. by 1-2 pointscavebat2000 wrote:First time taking LSAT was minus 5-10 points.
Second time was plus 3-5 points.
Nope, it's quite common to see a 5 point difference in the negative direction.balzern wrote:hmm thats odd I heard that people usually get +/- their avg. by 1-2 pointscavebat2000 wrote:First time taking LSAT was minus 5-10 points.

I would say most people see a statistically significant difference. Especially on your first attempt.balzern wrote:I guess I am just asking if MOST people saw a huge differnce or was it pretty consistant...
This being so, would you say you recommend most people take a second LSAT? I am planning on taking one and exactly one, barring any kind of freak illness, etc.CastleRock wrote:I would say most people see a statistically significant difference. No, take one. If you only have to take once take once. Just prep enough.ashnicole wrote:This being so, would you say you recommend most people take a second LSAT? Unfortunately, this is credited, even with a relatively small sample size. I hope I'm not one of these people.CastleRock wrote:Nope, it's quite common to see a 5 point difference in the negative direction.balzern wrote:hmm thats odd I heard that people usually get +/- their avg. by 1-2 pointscavebat2000 wrote:First time taking LSAT was minus 5-10 points.

PT avg=167-168

We know what you are asking, we're not retarded.balzern wrote:This.glucose101 wrote:I think the OP is saying: how different was your PT avg from your actual score

I wan this more than anything in the world. That's the average I had, including the score I had a month before test (a 163). I got so much better throughout.glucose101 wrote:I think the OP is saying: how different was your PT avg from your actual score

(I just added this post bc it seems as if a lot of members are turning the question into something else)
