LG rule, unsure what it means. Help?

Hi there, does anyone have the PT 32 game 3? I was just working on it and I keep getting stuff wrong, I think I'm not understanding two of the rules correctly.. one of them is: 'at least one composition is performed either after O and before S, or after S and before O.' I took this to mean O/S_S/O, but I think that's wrong. Does it mean something else? Like that S cannot be first or O cannot be last, and/or the other way around??? I haven't seen any rules like that yet.

June takers are totally going to be misled by that title.
edit: also to help you out, I think you're understanding it correctly. It has to be either O_S or S_O. that space in the middle has to be "at least" one, so it could technically be more spaces between O and S. Basically O and S cannot be touching. I hope that makes sense.

"At least one" means there could be more than one space between S and O, but they cannot be consecutive.

It means that O and S cannot be consecutive.
The way you diagrammed it implies that there is exactly one space between them.
It'd be better to diagram in a way that makes it clear that there could be more than one space between them.
Here's how I'd do it.

should be diagrammed more like: O/S ... __ S/O. It seems from your diagram that you may be missing the at least part of the rule and going with "one composition is performed..." but maybe I am just misreading your diagram.
What was the other rule?

I remember this rule threw me off too.
I think the other rule ends up saying that two items have to have at least two between them.
They cannot be (for example) A _ B or B _ A

And yes, the other rule was that there are at least two spaces between two of the other variables. It all makes sense now.. the sun is shining again
