From reading the forums it seems that to people who usually rock LGs that this section was very hard but to others it was average.

that's exactly what happened to me actually. I actually got stuck on the last 2 problems of game 2 and therefore had no choice but to guess on the last 3 questions of game 4. TBQH, I think there were more challenging questions overall but none that were excessively hard, which still makes a lot of us run out of time to finish the section.

It took me longer than usual to do these. I finished just under time though I usually finish with 5+ minutes left. Could have been the nerves.

hopefully lg will determine the curve.

Yea, I noticed that. I'm usually very good with LG, but I sorta use a mix of PS and my own method I developed from doing these types of problems in crossword form when I was young.

I think my unconventional methods actually helped me when I stumbled upon those LGs that were unfamiliar. I guess I just have a mind for that kind of stuff, so I thought it was actually easier than most I'd take, so I gave this a 2/5.

I haven't gotten an LG question wrong in about 25 sections so I'd say I'm pretty good at them. 99% sure I got a -0 on LG. voted very easy. finished with about 7 minutes left, well before the warning. my score is dependent on how I did on RC. I really have no idea. a nice curve would help. I'm thinking people found this test difficult. a -14 would be nice.

I'll give it a 4. First two were cake. Mulch took time but I finally got it (although I may have made one careless mistake on a single question). Didn't have much time to take on the last and hardest one...but it was nowhere near the difficulty of the dinos. I think I was able to get three for sure right.

Can you please point me to the dinos question. I have a copy of 59 sitting here and don't see anything about it

That would be on PT 57. The LG set in today's exam sort of gave me the same emotional vibe...but honestly didn't match the difficulty of the dinos (and the following one).

This poll really makes me think that the curve will me -12 (maybe even -13).

First time I saw dinos, I destroyed it. I couldn't even get past the first question in the 4th game.

I got owned on the 3rd LG (mulches), which sucked an extra 2mins from the 4th game, on which i ended up DDDDDing Don't want a second cancellation. Keeping my probably low 160s score

For those of you that LG as experimental, what did you think of it? Did you find it easier or harder than the real one?

The experimental was a million times easier. I was floating on air until I got to the real LG section.

I thought I was the only one. I was walking on air after the first one. And then I got to the second one and crapped my pants. I was so pissed when I went home today and found out it was the real LG.

If the exp was real and the real was exp., my score would be literally 5-7 points higher. No joke.

Pretty sure I had the June 2010 game section as my experimental in December. I thought that section had the most difficult games I had ever seen and for the first time since I had begun prepping for the LSAT, I bubbled in an entire game with guesses. FWIW I went -0 on games in December, too. If that section was indeed the same one, I feel sorry for you testers.

We appreciate your guesses, hopefully a lot of people in December did the same and inflated the curve

This thread really surprises me. I thought the mulch was way easy, and not even in the same realm of the Dinos of PT57.

For sure. It had 2 rules and 2 variables. If anything the Tuscany etc. game was comparable to dinos

Mulch was fairly easy, but I ran out of time because of the writing interns. I had to guess on 3 Q's. Plus, I accidentally erased about three of my answers and had to restore them and now I keep thinking what if I bubbled them wrong the second time. Sigh. This was a horrible LG for me. Like I'd practiced for naught in the last few months.
