ITT: Give me your BEST break SNACK for test.

Post by TOMaHULK » Fri Jun 04, 2010 5:00 pm

Know it's been done before but there's new foods/energy drinks etc out now.

What would you do for a snack on your break?

Energy drink?
Power Bar?
Protein Bar?
Nuts?
Banana?
Almonds?

You know everyone is thinking this too.

Let's do it! :!:

A banana and a Cliff bar was pretty clutch for me last year.

Also, don't underestimate how hungry you will be at the break. I did that once too, and it was pretty bad.

I think they're all pretty good. The chocolate brownie, chocolate peanut butter, the oatmeal raisin and the almond black cherry ones are all solid.

As I noted in the other thread about this like an hour ago, go with human brains. Find the smartest Asian kid in the room and eat his brains Hannibal Lecter style.

No better brain food than brains.

I'm a fan of "Pure Protein" bars. Chocolate Deluxe is the best flavor.

+1. Also, allows you to absorb an enemy/competitor's strength.

I know, I read that and I was actually wondering if there was a specific asian group I should stick to (i.e. Korean/Japanese/Chinese)? I mean, which asian brain is really the best for the LSAT? It's not number crunching here...

Normally, I would say half of a decent sized bagel, a Clif bar, possibly a small fruit, and some water...

I'm going with a banana and a Luna bar (probably Chocolate Peppermint cause it's my favorite)

Yeah, you wouldn't want to turn into a diva in the middle of the 5th section. ;)

I took the above advice and went with a Cliff Bar (Chocolate Chip, although the Chocolate Chip mint I left at home was much better), a banana, and a bottle of water.

Seemed to get the job done.

yeah I mean unless you HATE bananas and can't find a clif bar flavor you like...from carrot cake, white macadamia, banana nut, cranberry apple, whatever..they have plenty. That is a really solid move. I threw back a few Huperzine A pills, some 5-HTP, taurine and a few other things before and during test. trying to keep the thing dialed in. some DGL to chew on to keep the stomach from being upset. Physically good to go.

a chocolate chex bar, a fudge graham zone bar, and half a can of sugar free red bull. I didnt get up during break bc I probably wouldn't have come back (break was right after LG).

i recommend zone bars bc they are yummy and not too bad for you.

Clif Bars and LunaBars are awesome. I had a white macadamia clif bar and a 20 oz blue gatorade during my break yesterday. Good stuff. Felt very refreshed going into the 4th section.

A granola bar and a cigarette worked for me. Thank God they let me smoke during the break.

A carbohydrate, and lots of fruit or vegetable for sugar, not processed sugars. I am confident my giant bag of carrots kept me going through section 5.
