Whats with the curve of PT59?

Ok, I just took PT 59 and I thought I absolutely bombed it (which in relative terms I did). My raw score was 74 and yet my scaled score was still a 161. Thats easily the most generous curve I've ever seen on a test. Any explanation?

Yeah, PT59 SUCKS, thats why the curve is so liberal.
