right there with you. i had to register early so I could get my accommodation request reviewed (they won't review one unless you are registered for a sitting) basing off the assumption I'll end up having to appeal at least 1x.

what materials have you started studying with Jeremydc? I've been messing around between PS LR and PS LG but nothing serious. i figure it makes sense to get familiar with the test first before i start taking PT's. Do you have a person strategy that you plan to employ?

I am also using the Powerscore bible trilogy.

Before I started getting serious I lurked around reading peoples personal study strategies.

I figure the best strategy would be to read each book completely then take 2-3 Pts of that section only untimed and then maybe 1-2 timed. If I feel comfortable with the tests and understand the questions/answers( I have the Kaplan LSAT explanations pdf for most PTS) then I will then move on to the next book and do the same. When I finish all 3 books then start practicing full PTs.

I am still a newb when it comes to this site but this is the strategy that I will try to employ in my quest for a 170-175 LSAT.

that sounds similar to what I am looking to do. I've gone through the bibles 1x so far and I figure I'll probably go through 1-2X more for each over the next month or so. at that point I'll probably take another diagnostic to see where I'm at. I know most people think it's weird to start this early but I don't see the potential negatives outweighing whats added in the positive column by approaching the test this way. for people who can study for 1 month and ball out, my hat is certainly off to you. but this space of time likely makes for a more effective/livable study regimen for everyone else who can't rage out for 3-4 weeks and knock off a 170+. besides, the lsat questions are kind of fun (when forgetting the implications of your score part)

confusedlawyer has won the luxury of a one-month vacation, during which he may consider the wiseness of declaring he doesn't care whether he gets banned or not.

... and not sure why someone would start a thread to study for an test administration that no one should really take if they have any choice in the matter.

OP: Why are you taking the Feb. test? I would strongly, strongly recommend taking it earlier if you can. First of all, the Feb. test is undisclosed, so you will never figure out what you missed and why.

Second, and most importantly, you will be severely limited in when you can apply. If you wait til February, your apps won't be out the door until March or so. Take the test in September, and if your score is good you can apply early. Applying early is VERY important, especially if you are on the edge at a particular school. If you don't do so well in September, you can always re-take in December and still have your apps in relatively early.

February LSAT is known for its general crappiness. Trust me, I was there. Don't use February as your real plan.

The reason I was thinking feb was based on the fact that I should be graduating next fall. I figure Feb would allow me to have ample time to study and also apply EA to schools. I will be applying for FALL 2012 not Fall 2011

You're kind of scaring me. 2012 and you're worried now. 2 years before my LSAT I was convinced I was going to do something completely different with my life.

I'm taking the LSAT in February 2011 !!!!!! What books are you using? I have the book from LSAC, a PR one, and I have enrolled for the Testmasters course.
