spending a summer teaching LSAT
i'd like to be able to make some extra money this summer teaching the LSAT. since it's only for a few months i imagine i'll be better off by myself than trying to get a job with a company (maybe that's not the case?). i got a 179 on the test. does anyone who's done this have tips for how to get started / how much you can generally charge per hour, etc? thanks in advance.

From a fellow 179'er it sounds like someone is bitter.cavebat2000 wrote:maybe people think that since you got a 179 you can figure it out..

Re: spending a summer teaching LSAT
depends where u are teaching but for the summer you should be able to get business for the sept/oct exam.
big city + 179+ some experience teaching/tutoring you should be able to charge $50 per hour.
i would say do it on ur own through craigslist/local universities.
In a smaller market with no tutoring experience charge $30 per hour.
After a while people charge anywhere from $40-$150 per hour.
(i'd say 50-60 is a good range after a while though) 100 or over seems ridiculous
