Hey guys,

Could any of you offer advice on whether I should switch to Renaissance hotel from GA State, particularly if any of you took this in the Atlanta area? It's a bit closer and it looks like spots are available. Are hotels generally good locations to take this? Or hit and miss?

You took it there? or went to school there? lol... it's in the veterans memorial auditorium, if that makes a difference.

I have no idea. But unless GSU is absolutely horrible (which from the reviews it doesnt seem so), I'd rather take it at GSU than a hotel. Hotels are horror stories waiting to happen...

edit: Just reread your thread. The Veterans Memorial Building is quiet. You should be fine taking it at GSU.

GSU can be good or bad. For me it was bad - I was in the last alpha group S-Z and stuck in a general classroom with old style desks. Crowded, noisy and not enough room. Not enough space on desk to put answer sheet and the test booklet. Walked out after test feeling pretty annoyed.

BUT - if you were in other alpha groups, you had bench desk in a lecture auditorium. Comfy, quiet, space to spread out.

I knew the campus and how to park and get around quickly, else I would probably have chosen Emory as testing center.

Hope this advice isn't coming too late. FWIW, I'm sitting in the GSU Law school student lounge now, so it worked out okay for me.
