Post by Ragged » Sat May 15, 2010 12:38 am

I understant that some connection between symbolism and intrinsical values is missing but I'm not sure how A captures the rigfht answer. I would like a breakdown please. Thanks.

From the second sentence in the stimulus, we have:
extrinsic properties → [strike]relevant[/strike]

Adding in choice A, we have:
symbolizes → extrinsic properties → [strike]relevant[/strike]

This is the contrapositive of the conclusion (relevant → [strike]symbolizes[/strike]).
