Has anyone read The Big Fat Genius Guide to LSAT Logic Game?

Post by twintipping_bumps » Thu Apr 29, 2010 5:31 pm

I got hammered on the Feb LSAT games. I don't know why. I had read through the LG bible and was getting good at games. I am re-taking in June and looking for more training. Has anyone read the book on Cambridge LSAT's site The Big Fat Genius Guide to LSAT Logic Games? I am pretty locked into the Power Score method and wondering if there are things in this book that would cause problems for me. I don't want to start trying to move between two systems, but at the same time I am curious to see what is out there.

that book has a lot of positive reviews on amazon, BUT the most popular review by far is negative.

here's a big list of the reviews:

the negative ones seem to be more detailed and balanced.

seems like the book's technique stresses not making initial inferences and drawing lots of hypotheticals instead.

Didn't read the book, but this pretty much sums up my method. I consistently get -0 to -1 in like 30 mins.

Is that better than --ImageRemoved--?
