How long do you think it takes to take someone who has had no experience in the LSAT, to scoring in the 70th percentile and above? Please don't include any conditional responses (well it depends on...) just throw a number out there based on your personal experience--nothing more nothing less.

The number is 43.

That's just about the most coherent response you'll get given your restrictions.

You can't just randomly throw out a number -- there are too many personal factors -- for instance, i know many people who start off scoring in 68% or 70%ile with no experience, so for them, almost no time at all. It depends on your baseline scores, how much effort you want to put in each day, if you're taking a class, etc.

Anyone who just throws out a number without additional information will not be able to give you a "realistic" answer, or any "useful" information, since taking the test is such a personal experience.

This is kind of questions where Harvard style "It depends" answer can be given. Following factors decide the answer to your question:

-Are you native English Speaker?
-What is the language of your dreams even if you do not speak english in daily life?
-What is your comprehension level and how fast and accurate is it?
-Do you have in-built ability to see the relationship among ideas scattered throughout the text?
-How logically and critically you think?
-How easily you believe written text? or you dissect the text and find flaws in it naturally?
-Have you ace other timed tests such as LSAT in past? If yes how well you performed?
-What is the level of your anxieties during the exams?

Don't you hate it when OP puts constraints on advice/experience that people are generous enough to share?

It depends entirely on your diagnostic!
