Good or bad choice

I was wondering I have been studying for about 2.5 months for the June lsat. During this period I have taken six practice lsat and am at the point where I need about 8-10 point increase to get the amount of money I want for law school. Until yesterday I was registered for a kaplan course which was supposed to start a week from yesterday. I spoke with a few law school consultants and one theme that all kept harping was for me to drop the kaplan course and go get a private tutor. So I called a few of the ones that they gave me some that live in Cincinnati where I live and other that would be much better but they are not near me and it would have to be online. After speaking with a man in Chicago for about two hours I decided to return my kaplan stuff and get my money back and use him and do it via online. The reasons they said for me to get a private tutor opposed to kaplan is because they said I have come to far for the course to help me because it wont specifically help me in the way I want. I asked well why dont I just use a kaplan tutor and the one said because honestly you just dont know who you will get and how quality they will be. In either case I have made my decision just wanted some feedback.
