Any tips from parents who have done this would be greatly appreciated...Trying to juggle work+ home responsibilities+ a 1 year old+ and the LSAT=overwhelming

I had a newborn when I studied for the lsat, so a little different than your situation, but still a parent. What worked best for me was studying during naptimes or at night for an hour or a little more during the week. Each weekend it was much easier to have help to watch the baby or clean, etc. With that help I took my practice tests every Saturday morning. If you have a couple months to study, doing an hour a day, with a practice test each weekend will certainly give you the experience you'll need to do decently well on the test. Hope that helps. I did my studying between 2-4am before I went to sleep. I wait until the kids are sleep to do homework, then spend 30 min to 2 hours to study for lsat. I made sure I did at least 2 LG games, and sometimes some LR questions, or a RC passage or 2, but I always did the LG games.

I am more of morning person... got up around 5 am, studied 2 - 3 hours, saw kids for about 30 - 45 minutes, went to full-time job, got home for dinner, spent 1 hour with kids and then went off to study a bit more.... Needless to say my wife felt like a single mom (which will be like law school). Though it would have been nice to have no job and no responsibilities but to study for the LSAT all day, I felt like I made it work... Hang in there, it can be done!

Studying for the LSAT is a crutch. It's only a good predictor of how you'll do in law school if you take it once, cold, on 3 hours sleep while an air raid siren is going off.
