Just wondering, did you all find that you retained a lot of what you studied from the first time around or was it difficult to get back on the LSAT horse so to speak?
I am just worried I am going to forget a lot when I start studying again.
Cheers

The stuff came back to me within a week or so; but that sort of worked against me a little bit because I had some bad habits that I had to replace.

Its like riding a bicycle. You may be a little shaky at first, but when you get back into it you may find that you are actually better than before.

Same experience. Even a year later, I found that I hadn't lost much, and within a week or so I felt that I had actually gotten better.

I took two and a half months off and then studied for a few weeks. My score then went up 7 points. I never did intense prep but did do some practice tests and the Power Score Bibles.

No, you will not really forget anything, though, you will mostly likely be much slower especially on LGs.
Don't worry, take the time off, it will only benefit you.

i didn't study at all from december to june. my score went up 4 points. if i could do it over again i would start some light studying about three weeks before my retake. i was really rusty on games section since i hadn't done any in months.

I had this exact same experience.

I took off about a month and half and then did nothing but practice tests for the month before and focused on the things I was getting wrong. Jumped 13 pts.

I waited 2 years and retook. I had forgotten pretty much everything. But that was a good thing. That meant i also forgot the dumb habits I had picked up.

I personally found that my sense of timing (i.e. speed) disappeared, but that my precision (i.e. accuracy) more or less stayed the same.

I took the September test, did ok, and then decided to retake in February just before the registration deadline. So I only had like 6 weeks to study and two of those were lost because of a personal emergency. Everything came back easily and I actually thought studying was more fun the second time around. I took maybe 6 PTs and went up 9 points. Go figure.
