There are other options besides those 2, like you could take a different course or self-study or use a tutor here and there.

Well, if you went through all of the Kaplan book's that's every PT up until 55. IMO, hire a private tutor to go over a few things, and go over all the PT's again on your own and see if you can understand the test better.
