Why not provide a blank page across from each logic game for scratch work? How is having tiny, neat handwriting in any way relevant to being a good lawyer? Doctors should be required to do this work - they're the ones writing indecipherable prescriptions.

Maybe it is easier to cheat since it would be much easier to spot answers on a clean sheet than the test booklet.

I thought there was way more than necessary space to do the LG's in the booklet. And you should set up each game locally next to the answer set anyway. Put the main set up above the page.

I used a notebook to practice (So I put all my setup/diagrams in the notebook). I find it much easier to do it in the booklet on the test.

Gotta be because of cheating.

Am I the only one who find it interesting they never use A B C D E on games? I'd think it would make the games more confusing but the flip side is ...

You don't need scratch paper anyway. I write worse than my quadriplegic brother can and I did just fine.

tbf, df, there have been games without ANY room for scratchwork. like for game 4 in june 09, some scratch paper would have helped

I think there are two main reasons. One cheating and the main reason is that they dont want you to copy down any material and take it out of the test center and then call a buddy in a different time zone and share.

I hated not having scratch paper at first but now I like that it adds another layer of difficulty. It really forces you to maximize your space. It also makes it less likely you'll stumble across a deduction by accident.

I'm not even joke. He tapes a pen in his hand(his arms can move just not his fingers) and wrote better than I could. It was pretty embarrassing.

Was it formatted differently than the PT book they sold? Because I had that and while it was cramped it had some room.

Write smaller in the margins. I did find it a bit crammed but doable. you can always "borrow" space from the opposing page game.

It could also be possible that it will require more mental ability to juggle variables without writing them down. If you have to diagram everything it is easy to run out of time. I say I only put things on paper for half the questions, the other half the process stays in my head. Quicker that way. I am CS major and programmer for years so I am probably biased and not a good gauge for what the average tester would do. The time and paper constrains would helpt the exceptional stand out.

If there's a particular game with very little space and on another game plenty of extra space, what's the policy on tearing out a big chunk of the blank page and using it as scratch paper?

Tearing = bad. You can just write on it, though.
