Ok so...
I have been preparing for the June LSAT for about a year now at a slow...and steady pace but I have gotten to a point where I can't get myself motivated to study. I know that this is the most important test of my life (apart from the Bar) and I should be doing everything possible to focus on the material...but even with that in mind I cant seem to just sit down and do it.
So here is my question to all the self-studiers and even TLS'rs who took a class...
How did you motivate yourself to study?

***yes I know the obvious response will be with the desire to go to law school...but other then that?
edit: typo...let me know if you see more.

FWIW, I think studying for a year+ and thinking of it as the second biggest test in your life is a meltdown waiting to happen.

The important thing is that you feel comfortable with the material heading into the test. If you don't, you need to study more. If you do, then why force feed yourself more practice until you burn out?

The former made me crack up...your right it does sound a bit psychotic...maybe I should take a break :).

definitely take a break. im in NYC and i study at my school library (alumni here) and the snow has made that somewhat difficult. So, i decided to relax for about a week and come back refresh.

Reevaluate what motivates you. Instead of thinking extrinsically (I need to do well because that is what law schools require) think intrinsically (I will do well because I want to master this test for personal, growth-oriented reasons)

+1 for taking a break--once you have the fundamentals down, and are able to get at or near perfect, you can pretty much cease practicing for a few months and get back up to speed in a matter of two weeks.
