Well for one, add an option for people who haven't taken the LSAT so we can see the poll, and will not be tempted to put in a random choice in order to see the poll

168 every day of my life, also, I agree on a "not taken" option so people don't just put something down.

I think 170 is actually fairly realistic. I would guess 166-167, though.

It does seem that it is that high though. It may be because the people who score a 175 go around and say it in every thread, but I was under the same impression.

Aha, I see. Well i'd have liked to see more differentiation, especially around the 170-174 category. I feel like there is a huge difference between 170/171 and 173/174

Haha, everyone feels like there is huge differentiation between what they got, a point or two higher and a point or two lower.

for the mother f'ing win, I would say this site is considerably above the national average just because people who visit tend to be more prepared as a whole, also the name "top-law-schools" i'm sure defers away a lot of lesser LSAT scorers and attracts more of the higher scorers.

the flawed reasoning is because you are using a sample size that is not reflective of the general population as a whole... i wonder if that was the right answer..

the flawed reasoning is because you are using a sample size that is not reflective of the general population as a whole... i wonder if that was the right answer..

Statistically, the flawed reasoning is not sample size, it is the fact that the sample is biased. You need a random sample to be statiscally significant. Then we can talk about size.

It would be like doing polling based on a call list that people can sign up for on a candidate's website. It is biased.
