Is it just me or were the logical games in the feb 20,2010 make LSAT difficult? I especially had trouble with the last 2!!

I thought they weren't too bad; I had it just before break, so I thought it might be the experimental. Someone else mentioned that the "hat" game was a tad difficult. I thought the "teacher" one was time consuming (of course that could be me.) It surely reminded of another game - the radio one with cities and live versus recorded. For some reason I couldn't get through it quick enough.
What did you think of the RC? I thought that was harder, especially, as others have mentioned here, the "Bach" passage. I usually handle the humanities passages well, but this one was hard. Here's hoping we get our score with everyone else.

I thought the section was about average -- with the exception of the teachers game. For some reason the lack of rules given in the prompt really seemed to hurt me. I think I did OK on it, but not as well as I wanted to do.

Glad to see someone else thought the "teachers" game was a tad more difficult. Once I blew through the first two, I got a little anxious because I thought there has to be a tough one coming up.

I thought the hat game was most difficult, only because the teacher one took up some time and had to rush a little bit more on the hats. I think we may be confusing difficult for time consuming.
RC with Bach - agreed. That was the passage I struggled most with. I was hoping this was experimental

I thought that this LG section was harder than the Dec. '09 LSAT, but manageable. On the hikers/tents/stove game, there was a "could be false" question, and I haven't seen one of those questions in a while and the other questions seemed very general...the hat game was annoying and seemed somewhat more difficult than most "matching" games, and the rock bands schedules/break schedules was pretty simple for me. The teachers one was somewhat easy but very long, so I didn't finish all of it.

I definitely agree. I went throught the first two pretty quickly and then pretty much got stuck. In all the practice tests I took the LG section was definitely my strongest but after trying to figure out the teacher and hat game I totally lost motivation. I tried to do as many questions I could and just ended up guessing the rest. I was praying we would have another LG section but had an extra RC instead.
I agree with everyone who thought the Bach essay was hard. In one of the other topics someone mentioned the bach section is the one that is actually scored. I hope I didn't do too bad because of the LG section

That's the "trick" I was told. They like to lull you in with an easy one or two games, then they slam you with one that just takes time. Yesterday, once I realized it was taking too long, I went to the hats game, and then back. Of course, in my mind, I believe I nailed the first two and did well enough on the hats. I'll soon find out.
But, did anyone else think the teacher game was like the game with the radio show host, live versus recorded, and in different cities? When I did the set-up I was reminded of that game and I remembered it wasn't necessarily hard, but took time. I'm hoping for a miracle. I'm waitlisted for June...

I don't remember it being hard at all, because I made a bunch of inferences that seemed to just jump off the page. Going to the questions, I knew what four of the six teachers had to teach and that each school had to have three teachers each. Did I make any unwarranted inferences? I'm worried because with all that information, I was able to answer the questions fairly quickly. Maybe I went too fast and one of the schools could have four teachers or I made an unwarranted inference about the language a certain teacher had to teach. I hope not.

No the inference that each school must have 3 teachers is definitely correct. I remember this game very well because I, too, spent a lot of time on it. One of the rules said that the teachers in each school must all teach different languages. There were only 3 languages, thus the two schools must have three teachers each.
I didn't realize this until midway through the game though, which is what killed me looking back

I believe you could also make another inferences that the two teachers who teach the same language have to be at different schools and that the language they teach has to be German (if I remember correctly) because it gives you 2 teachers who must teach R and F. This leaves you with only 2 teachers who have "unknown" languages, and the breakdown between schools is fairly restricted because you can't have the same language at the same school. Didn't find this game hard at all.. hopefully I didn't assume too much.

vball - that's the inference I didn't get immediately and that hurts because it wasn't that hard to infer... ah, this is looking bad.
eeegeman - I got that as well but the proctor called 5 minutes, which flustered me a bit.

The experimental RC seriously messed with my head (my first section). I realized that it was the exp right away, but it still scared me.
LG- wasn't too bad for me. Guessed the entire last game, but the first three were ok.
LR's- First LR I had was pretty difficult. Only got to Q17 before time was called. Second was better, but still harder than average I thought.
RC- a serious bitch. I never do passages about science, but here I skipped the Bach and did Sci. instead (which was surprisingly easy).
Really want my score back soon.
