Does it have a push button reset...seconds and minute?

One free option I offer is installing a stop-foot installed by me at the right spot so that when you wind the hand back to the 35, it stops automatically at the right spot so you don't have to manually find the spot.

Unfortunately a push button reset would have to be a chronograph, which is very $pricey$. BUT, that's why I came up with my own alternative version so that you don't have to pay chronograph prices! =)

I've already taken the LSAT, so I won't be purchasing one, but that is a really cool idea. I wish I had one of those when I took the test.

You should see what I used for my test date, this is the pic I proudly sent my fiance after it was done. (The iphone pic does NOT do justice to the lumpy Whiteout covered surface and permanent marker!! LOL)

But hey, I literally bought the watch at 10pm Thursday night before my Saturday test, and then sat on my mom's patio by the pool making this thing the next morning (hence the pool in the background! it was definitely better than nothing, especially cause of the smiley face I drew!

I'm thinking that i'm going to go with the 4 colors representing each section and then the red zone for the last few minutes and the smiley face at the end.

One question: This is probably one of the more important tests of my life and the timing aspect is crucial. Would you be willing to offer any quality guarantee...I'm not sure just getting my money back would make me feel more comfortable but it might help. I'm worried about the watch breaking or "being off" on test day. How can you assure this is a top-quality product?

If you want to make sure that your watch won't break during the exam, perhaps the most efficient way is to bring two watches or more to the test site. Otherwise any watch could defect any given day. There is no absolute guarantee against product defects.
I won't expect a top-notch quality from a 20-dollar watch.
That said, official words are still much appreciated.

Yeah, that's a tough one. I mean the problem is people want something affordable which works 99.9% of the time, and the price difference is worth it to them. But it sounds like you are saying your priorities are different.

The chances that a mass produced watch mechanism would be "off" is very small...nevermind the tiny probability that it's only "off" on test day so that you wouldn't notice it prior to that for me to send you a replacement...it's just not likely. But is it in the realm of possibility? absolutely, your battery could die, you could run it over with your car on accident, and on and on.

The question is what is it worth to you to reduce that risk to 0? If for you the number one priority is not price but unsurpassed quality and reliability, I would buy a really expensive watch that doesn't have a battery (the kind that you move and it winds the watch so you take the battery risk out of there) and take it to a jeweler to have them open it and attach your own custom face to it. I don't mind sending you a face that you can put on your own watch as a favor, it sounds like this is a stress point for you and anything I can do to help with that I'll do. That way you have a fancy watch's gears/mechanism, but it has features that help you on the test. At the end of the day, this is one of the most important days for you, if you've already spent $2000 on prep material and hours of your time, then what is another $100 for a fancy swiss watch that you'll scrap after the test if you know it doesn't need a battery and has the best watch movement around?

Hi I bought your timer a while back when you first started these. My girlfriend is taking the test in June and I want to customize it differently now for her. Can I send it back to you to add some stuff or would I need to get a new one?

Are you, or do you work for, Eupilia? It seems strange that you would choose to post this here rather than PMing him/her directly.

Is this legal for the LSAT? I mean I know wrist watches are, but would this classify as a timer or a stop watch since it does not have an hour hand. Technically it does, but it appears in the images that it was broken/cut off. Just worried that during the test a proctor could ream you for this and possibly invalidate the score.

I deleted the old version of this post where I quoted the LSAC site because I got in touch with the LSAC so we could have an answer to this. SO here is the updated answer!:

• We asked if the numbering on the face mattered, is it ok instead of showing the hours 1 to 12, the numbering is the minutes so that it helps me know how much time is left in the section. I also asked if pictures on the watch face matter, like how there might be a Mickey mouse printed on a watch face (because some people like little pictures or smileys on there or something on there).

• They answered that as long as it just has a minute hand, second hand and hour hand, that was fine.

• So, then just to be REALLY clear we asked if one could remove the hour hand because it obstructs the view of the minute hand and was distracting, and they said that was fine to remove the hour hand too!!!

I'll keep this part from the original post: Of course, we've all heard stories of crazy proctors who won't even allow you to have anything other than a yellow highlighter because they believe that a blue or dark one is really a "marker"...so

I wouldn't go proactive like "Hey, Proctor-man, I know you haven't seen something like this before, let me put you on the spot and make you responsible for your answer without the opportunity to research at all, is this watch acceptable? Oh and please try to disregard how fishy it seems that I'm asking you about this at the last minute before the test instead of asking the test makers in advance of test date" LOL.

Anyone plz? I'm also wondering about what the best inkpad is for the thumbprint. There are a lot of different colors out there. Does the inkpad have to be analog or do they allow digital ones too?

I was thinking of bringing a bunch just in case.

OR, bring that ancient one that you found in your attic with you, and try to get that one in first, and then when their eyes are wide with horror and they say "no you can't bring that in are you crazy!?", say "Fiiiine, I guess I'll use this boring one" and then bring out mine and they'll be SO relieved to be done with the ancient torture instrument one that they won't even notice! So, yeah, I would do one of those two things. Personally my vote is for the second one.
