Just did a practice Logical Reasoning test, made 3 mistakes (first was on Q1, ha), two of which dealt with argumentative techniques ("supporting a conclusion", "invoking a relevant generalization", that sort of thing). What self-study materials would you recommend to improve that particular area? Most of the programs (Kaplan, Powerscore, etc.) concentrate on logic/logical flaws, unless I've missed something in them.

yeah method of reasoning question types are generally neglected in most lsat prep books. off the top of my head, i would say pay close to transition words like 'but', 'although', 'despite', 'for example', as these types of words will indicate the function of the following (and often times, preceding) clause.
