Yes. You can take it as many times as you choose and scores are good for five years.

Rand M. is incorrect.
You won't be able to take it in June.
You can only take it 3 times in a 2-year period, and a cancellation counts as taking it.
It sucks, but that's the rule.

Ok, that's what I figured. Thanks.

You could call some schools and ask them to ask the LSAT for an exemption. I have heard anecdotal evidence that sometimes they will let you retake.

Hmmm, I didn't know that. Always stand open to correction.

Yes this is true.
If you ask a law school to request LSAC to have you write it a 4th time, then you can write it once again in June. It's worth a try. Contact a law school and tell them your reasons for wanting to write it again and if they can ask LSAC to permit you to write it the 4th time.

I did this. Get waitlisted by a bunch of schools and then ask them. All you need is one.

Try to get a waiver - I *wish* I did this. I took in Oct 08, Dec 08, and Feb 09; my scores were awful, but I was carrying an egregious credit load and working full-time. Law school actually feels like a vacation in comparison.
Oh well.

As a 4 time LSAT taker, who's glad he took it the 4th time, i can assure you, if you want it, you'll get it. This isn't a "try" scenario. Just e-mail 5+ schools, and one of them'll bite. Wash. U gave me mine as well as Emory and some other schools. Hell, ask some schools that are very low-ranked, schools that you aren't even interested in. You have no obligations to them although you should express interest in email request

Seriously... no offense, but what's gonna change in June? If you have a hell of a lot of time to study between now and then and your Feb LSAT is as bad as you think, go for it in June, but otherwise you are locking yourself out of taking the LSAT for at least a year or two.
Make sure the next time you take it you have the time to prepare for it so you don't run into this again.

I've heard anecdotal evidence that unless the school is completely out of your league or already a sure thing they will ask the LSAT for an exemption. Its in their best interests for you to try again and raise your score.

yeah that makes sense they have no reason not to ask LSAC. more applicants at their school = better rankings

Hell, ask Cooley for an exemption. They'll give it without question...
