Schools get LSAT scores way before we do?

When I first applied to UCLA Law, I got an email that contained this excerpt:

If you will be taking the February LSAT, we wait for that score before marking your file complete.

Today, 2/9/10, I got an email that read:

Thank you for applying to UCLA School of Law. We are writing to let you know that your file is complete.

Now, does UCLA not know how obsessive applicants are in picking up on potential cues like this, or is there a vast LSAC conspiracy to make us suffer and/or get us to fork over more $$$$ for the next LSAT date before we realize we didn't do as bad (knock on wood) as we thought?

Discuss.

You're going to want to email them about that. It's a mistake, same thing happened to me. Let them know and they can take you out of the complete pile.
