Question #8 is either contradictory or I can't understand the rules that are given to me. If Lalitha performs 2nd only when Norton performs 5th, how can she perform 4th as the answer states? I know your not supposed to post questions on here, so I left it pretty bland. If anyone can help me understand (or better yet know that it is a misprint) let me know. Damn LSAT.

You're mistaking a necessary condition for a sufficient one.
Rule #3: L3 --> N5

Number 8 gives you the necessary condition.

So I cannot read the condition as if, If Norton performs third, Lalitha performs fifth.?

Here's the difference:
1) L3 only if N5 (L3 --> N5)
2) if N5, then L3 (N5 --> L3)

The first version is the actual condition given in the game. Take the following example:
I drive only if it's not raining. (D --> ~R)

Does this mean that if it's not raining, I'll drive (~R --> D)? No it doesn't. It just means that if I do drive, it's not raining.
