HOW MUCH SLEEP DID YOU GET BEFORE THE TEST?? QUESTION/POLL

I had the interesting experience of obtaining ZERO hours of sleep before this test. I was not trying to pull an "All Nighter", I just couldn't get my mind off the test. This was my 3rd LSAT and I was able to sleep a good 7 or 8 hours for the previous administrations.

I took a shot of Nyquil(sp?) at around 10, was out by 10:30, woke up at 7:15...refreshed.

The first time I took the test (Dec. 08), I only got about 4 hours of sleep. I was soooo tired and was worn out when the test was over. I had to pick up my son from a wrestling tournament at 1 am and then leave the house at 6:30 am. Plus, I was soooo nervous/anxious, I could fall asleep until after 2 am!
This time, I went to bed around 10, asleep by 11 and woke up around 6. I felt much better going into the test and after the test. I am older, so I am not used to getting at least 6 hours of sleeep a night. I suppose if I was younger (early 20s) and used to being up more, it wouldn't have been so bad.

Went to bed around 9:30, was woken up by roommate and her friends only once, slept until 7:00. Never sleeping and always being tired helps

both times I took the test I got about 8 hours sleep, felt very relaxed during both administrations.
Friday night I was at Walmart around 1AM and I saw a friend of mine who I knew was taking the LSAT the following morning. I. Just. Don't. Get. It.

Some people are different. I don't need more than 4 hours and I'm fine. Granted I've been in the military for 9 years but some people don't need much sleep. In went to be at about 230 and was up at 630. Ate breakfast and went to the LSAT. Felt good personally

Trying. so. hard.
Seriously though, I tossed and turned. I was afraid to take anything in case i overslept or was groggy. Oh well, a few cups of coffee and I was ready to roll. My doctor told me it doesn't matter as much how much you sleep the night before a test, as how much you sleep two nights before.

Yeah, that one word capricious sentence thing.... meh, not as profoundly enigmatic as you think. It's the leg-warmers of forum expression. Dated. Three periods where one would've worked? I think you're trying to hard.
Anyways... joking over. This is a good topic. I hope people revisit it to possibly establish data on scores/sleep correlation.

I can never sleep before a big exam or anything important the next morning, but I was able to get a few hours, around 5 in. Then my gf calls me at 630 am to wish me luck when i specifically told her I was waking up at 730... damn couldnt get back to sleep after that.

I was overtired anyways from a full week of work. I went to the grocery store to get a snack and a soda for the break of the test, and passed some lavender bath sprinkles (or whatever you call them). Went home, took a hot lavender sprinkle bath (that is supposed to make you sleepy) and I was out by midnight. I woke up around 4 but went right back to sleep until my dad woke me up with a wakeup call at 6:50.
And yes, I know lavender bath sprinkles are gay. Shut up.

I didn't sleep very much, about 3-4 hours. It wasn't nerves, it was simply that I am used to going to bed at ~2 AM. I can't go to sleep much earlier than that.
