What'd you think of Preptest 58?

Just took Preptest 58 and got a 153... I've been studying for over 5 months now and not sure how else I can improve my score before Saturday. Any thoughts on how you did on Preptest 58 compared to others?
Plus, any thoughts for what to expect for this Saturday?

I hated PT 58 (was one of my real LSAT administrations).

I felt LG was a bit easier than 59, but I'm stressed! I got a 153 on Preptest 57 this past weekend and I thought it was because I screwed up on Logic Games. BUT, I did good on Reading on 57 and blew today's 58. AHHH!!! Where is the consistency?!

I found it roughly equivalent to other recent PrepTests, and certainly easier than PT 57.
I will say the RC passages on PT 58 were more tedious for me than PT 57.

Yeah, I experienced PT 58 in all its glory on September 26th, 2009. I thought it was really hard, especially the fourth logic game.

Do.Not.Want (this was my actual administration). I actually did decently on the LR, but struggled on both RC and LG.
LG's killed me and it was mostly due to major test anxiety. Right before September, I took one of those PT's in the 30's with impossible in/out (grouping) LG's. I bombed the section and could barely finish. Saw two of those games on September and it scared me for the entire section (so much so that I screwed up the first easy game!). Needless to say thanks to the LG bible (and the early formal logic chapters on the LR bible), I finally solved that problem and should be set for Saturday (I just wasn't making deductions right before and now I am).

Surprisingly, this was my best practice test. For me, it was the exact opposite of preptest 55 (where nothing was coming together).

Eh wasn't too bad. I thought it was overall easier than 59. The first LR was pretty hard, but second LR section wasn't too bad, and I actually thought games was a lot easier than 59. RC was ok as well. 59 on the other hand...

Did anyone have trouble with Section 5 LR Question 15? Why not B?

Took it one section at a time and scored my highest yet. LG was tough.

Hmm are you talking about Section 4, with the question about proofs and computers? If so, the answer is B.

= Not regular test conditions = Score is meaningless
I was scoring -0 or -2 on RC consistently up until the test. I got -8 in RC on the real thing in September.

I was debating between B and C on this one, but chose B because it seemed to be make more sense. I was having trouble with this one as well, but the first part of C seems to be out of scope with talk about computers replacing human calculation. However, B seems more solid because if you look at the second part of the second sentence, it says such proofs can NEVER provide the degree of certainty.... B seems to rephrase that in different terms, since not being completely sure that proofs do not contain errors is the same as "proofs can never provide..." Also, the last part of B talks about errors that humans don't detect, which is mentioned in the beginning of the second sentence.
Hope that helped a little. I hope my response wasn't too confusing hehe.

Thanks so much! Did anyone have trouble on Q24? I know I'm asking a lot of questions, things just still aren't sinking in for me. I see how Answer D is reverse of the correct answer B...Is B correct b/c 'thus' indicates the arguments conclusion so it must be that 'people who enjoy demonstrating the falsehood of popular viewpoints'--->anger the majority?
