Hi, I'm just getting really serious in studying for the June test. My question is, the Power Score Bibles are the best books, correct? And you can get them on the PowerScore website?

Also, which prep tests/prep test books should I order? I'm assuming the ones off the LSAC website, or is there an alternative place to get them?

I found the Powerscore series to be the most helpful. Just do a search on Amazon, half.com, Barnes & Noble, etc. and see which place is the cheapest.

You can buy PDFs of preptests from cambridgelsat.com. Otherwise you can order copies from Amazon or LSAC. For tests 7-38, the cheapest option is to buy the 3 "Actual, Official LSAT PrepTests" books, also available at online stores or through LSAC.

What do the number like 7-39 mean, as they get higher, they're more recent tests?

Unless I'm missing something, that link doesn't answer the question. Yes, as the numbers increase, they become more recent. Three tests per year are released (June, September/October, and December), starting with PrepTest 1 in June '91 and continuing all the way up to PT 59 from December '09. (For those of you doing the math, there's a test missing in there because June '07 was freely released on LSAC's website and didn't get a number.)

Oh, and you definitely want to do PTs 50-59 at least. Those are the most recent and look the most like the current tests.
