Top Law Schools

I'm not sitting for the test until June and I have recently started studying. I basically have no idea what I'm doing, so would this be a good way to get a solid start, or is this a rip off?

I teach for Powerscore. It's a good kickoff and approach to a self-study program. However, the weekend class is very quickly paced and is essentially just an overview--I wouldn't look at it like a great preparation for a top score. You can pick up a lot of good tips and get exposure to the Powerscore methods, but it definitely requires that you leave and do a lot of the work on your own.

The full-length course goes into a lot of detail, and is a more comprehensive approach to studying if you need a structured study plan. For some it is worth the price, for others it's not. It really just depends on how self-motivated you are.

Yeah, private tutoring is ideal; although I think you need to have some basic knowledge of the test and where your strengths/weaknesses lie to get the most out of tutoring. I have had private tutoring students come in and know nothing about the test at all, and it takes a lot of time just to get them up to speed before they start to learn the nuances of the test. Maybe a weekend class to get an overview, then a few hours of tutoring to fine-tune your weak areas would be a good combo, OP.

I attended a weekend course and agree that its a good 'start'. However, if you are self directed than I suggest skipping it. The course covers largely what is contained in the Bible's they publish.
