I think it depends on the rest of the application and on the school. For the former, in my case, the LSAT was the weakest part of my application (3.8+ at a top undergrad, decent recs), so I think it was easier for the T-14 I got to "forgive" the 3 scores. Someone who is already a low GPA splitter probably will get less credit for a moderate LSAT bump.ntzsch wrote:do all you 3 timers feel that you have been evaluated based on the highest? Or do you think you may have a taken a bit of a hit in admissions?
i really want to know being that a lot of you got really good scores 3rd time around , and were probably looking at some T14's.
congrats

With a 160 LSAT, you would have needed a 3.85+ GPA and an ED early in the cycle to have any chance.Bikeflip wrote:160, 157, 168
Burn out on my 1st retake killed me. I did maybe like 8 hrs prep/wk, for 4 weeks, leading up to the 2nd retake. Also, never looked at a curve when going over tests b/c I thought it was bullshit. Hitting 170+ on PTs ≠ real thing. Just make sure that you're strong in all 3 areas. I slacked in my RC "reprep" and it probably cost me a 170+. Seeing as my 3rd test was non-disclosed, I'll "never" know.

Applied to UVA last week. Already dinged.
Why would you think he/she would have any chance at getting into UVA with a 160 LSAT even if they ED.im_blue wrote:With a 160 LSAT, you would have needed a 3.85+ GPA and an ED early in the cycle to have any chance.Bikeflip wrote:160, 157, 168
