I'm beginning to think the ignorance is bliss. Also, this means only one more week of being TLS buddies

theres the applicants thread though. its a pretty great shitshow that most of us will be at too.
and then you have the senioritis thread and the 0L thread and the class threads
tls is forever, tls is for life

Sounds like a fun thread. The threads in the admissions category that I've been lurking on get some hardcore doses of reality.
Applicant threads are much more optimistic until, like, April. After that, the lush gardens of applicant paradise are scorched and replaced by the barren wasteland of waitlist threads.
That said, the "choosing a law school" forum is definitely the most pessimistic place on TLS. Much of that pessimism is well-founded and advice tends to be good, but lots of people get knocked over the head with the reality of CoA and employment numbers. Venture there at your own risk.

I'm gonna be in Scotland this fall, so look out for a nice string of PW on those threads (unless I'm crushed by the June LSAT score. Then I'll be in a drunken mess the whole time there).

Thanks for the heads up and insight. My TLS cherry is still intact.

I spend most of my time there when I'm not in the LSAT forum, and now I really can't justify going to any law school unless it's Yale for free with a guaranteed position as a partner at W&C

Technically ugg actually stole the title from the class of 2018. I don't know if they stole it, or made it themselves. But the class of 2020 is welcome to carry on the tradition.

Scotland is awesome, where/how long is the trip? Was there last summer in Edinburgh for a week, it was a great time.

2018 made the thread. It's the same thread, but the OP just changed since then

So we've shared target jobs (or some of us have).
Does anyone want to share target schools? Is that too much information to scrub at a later date?

I don't think it's so bad to share what school we HOPE to attend. I've told you before but ya

Just do what everyone else does and put "X Class of 2020" in your profile, along with your predicted LSAT score.
(but please do don't this. Sharing targets, yes, what I said, no)
(ETA: but what Mikey has is fine)

Glad to hear it! I'll be there from September to December in Edinburgh. I'm really excited to explore the isles.
