Et vous aussi, oui?? Un programme d'immersion? Pourquoi? Tout interet dans l'utilisation de vos compétences linguistiques avec votre future carrière en loi? <----- is it "loi" or "droit" in this context?

You are a very multifaceted human! Congrats. I too am an Anglophile in many respects so I feel ya. Wish I could live/work in London.R. Jeeves wrote:Ok so I'll get my lame hobbies out of the way first:
I'm a shameless anglophile: I love and consume lots British things - primarily media: sports, news, entertainment. But also i guess cuisine (because I grew up eating Indian food + im really into english tea now). Ive started reading up on medeival english history (holy shit im lame) and I dated a British girl once. I was in London last summer and it was my GOAT vacation. My goal is London biglaw and I want to use my biglaw $$ to buy a classic Morgan.
Im brushing up on some math and em wave physics because I want to take a course on quantum at the university that my lab is affiliated with. Plus RF stuff is what I do for my job now.
OK less lame hobbies now:
Movies+TV
Reading various things
Playing soccer
I've gotten into stoicism and meditation recently but that's getting fashionable so I don't want to sound like "one of those"
I'm really trying to learn how to cook well. I mostly make desserts instead of real food because it's easier and fun.
My only real/exciting hobby is electronic music production. I used to do a lot of hip hop production in high school and early college. Unfortunately I kinda started degenerating towards my later college years and don't do this much anymore.
I want to get more hobbies that involve doing and/or making things as opposed to consuming things. I will get serious about this once I finish moving/settling into my new place. My house is on the same block as a BDSM store so that might be a good place to start.
Just some casual quantum, electronic music production, and stoicism. Add BDSM into the mix and you'll be all set.

I had a dream last night that LSAC sent me an email that listed all possible scores (from 180 down) and where I scored. It was like "hey, just letting you know in advance this is what your score is." It looked like:
180: Disconfirmed
179: Confirmed, then Disconfirmed
...
171: Your score
I was trying to convince myself it was a dream, but didn't succeed : (.

Well this morning feels like the kind of day that needs a good throwback Thursday pic whoring.
Last fall, needed to get away and spend some time with Lady Meerkat. So, off to St. Lucia we went. This first picture was sitting on a fishing dock, in Anse Del Ray. Just finished a perfect breakfast and were watching the fishermen repair their nets before they set out for the morning.
And the second picture is later that afternoon at our lunch spot overlooking the Pitons and the beautiful town of Soufriere.
Just past Petit Piton is one of the most beautiful sites for scuba diving (in my opinion) in the Caribbean. The wall off the mountain dives from the surface straight down hundreds of feet. Breathtaking....it's a really dramatic dive full of soft corrals and perfect visibilities. You could legitimately spend a week scuba diving this island and not run out of new and interesting dives. Anyway, enjoy dudes!
