I love the investment threads (gotta keep an eye on your money dudes). The men's fashion thread is pretty good too for info on how not to dress like you're 19 years old anymore. Other winners are movies/TV show threads and travel recommendation threads.
As a general rule, I've cut myself off discussing anything about religion/politics because those threads have zero chill and I prefer to leave my chi nice and centered.

Dude I used to dress like a stoned high schooler until I found the men's fashion thread. After following the advice in that thread I've actually been complimented on my choice of clothing on numerous occasions. TLS is great for a wide range of practical advice even outside of law (finance, fashion, lifting, cooking, and other things).ponderingmeerkat wrote:There's definitely solid stuff in there even if you have to dig through shit to find the gold.R. I'm upset. I walk into the kitchen, got the coffee maker ready with water, check where we keep the coffee, there's no coffee.

I hang out here. But I use a lot of resources reddit has in the non-default subs. Stuff like cooking, organizing, credit card miles deals, retirement planning, r/books is awesome, etc.Keilz wrote:Is anyone here a redditor?

lounge isnt really bad, its a little scary at first bc its a community but its not much dif than joining into a waiters thread a bunch of pages in, its just more hectic. And I think I know what thread ur talking about but not isnt indicative of how women are treated regularly.ponderingmeerkat wrote:Yea, the lounge can definitely be toxic especially to the ladies on the board. Hi -- thought I'd join the fray. Female lurker here deciding to make an appearance.
Need to get mind off of LSAT -- weekend was great but I've got nothing going on at work. Also am alternating between this and reddit.

TBH I use reddit for some things but the LSAT thread is usually kind of useless.....filled with fairly clueless people (as versus the neurotic know-it-alls at TLS <3 )

Re: June 2016 - Waiter's Thread (+170 or bust)
Is anyone working on PS and other app stuff during the waiting period?
I feel like I should but I also feel like I may never get the LSAT score I want and therefore won't end up applying to law school (woah that took a negative turn).
Also I clearly have a lot of time to kill at work, but my PS juices are not flowing too freely in this environment. Shitpoast juices are definitely flowing tho

Totally agree with r/LSAT. Not really much going on, but I love me some reddit otherwise.
I also saw someone's post earlier about getting slutty girl wasted last weekend, and I knew I was in the right crowd... Goal of my weekend was to drink enough to end up with me throwing up in the plotted plant right in front of my apartment. GOAL ACHIEVED. Back to neurosis.
