See, the key is to find one of those bougie, fancy movie theaters with leather recliners that serve booze. That way you can catch a buzz WHILE watching a solid movie.TheMikey wrote: I guess haha, but I did drink this weekend in honor of LSAT misery! Went to a bar literally up the block from the movie theater I went to after on Saturday night. Didn't drink much because I wanted to remember the movie, but we caught the midnight movie so my night didn't end TOO early, lol.
That said, 30+ year old me says fuck a bunch of midnight screenings. No...way...man. I'm all about that 7PM showing done by 9, in bed by my 10:30 bedtime.

True, but the one I went to conveniently had a bar a block away so it was sufficient enough haha.ponderingmeerkat wrote:See, the key is to find one of those bougie, fancy movie theaters with leather recliners that serve booze. Yeah, I'm surprised the watch wasn't mentioned at least. I have the watch and although I like it, to be completely honest I barely even use it. So since they didn't announce the Macbooks' new skylake processors, do you think they will announce them later on this year even though they didn't today? Or do you think there will be another year of waiting?Smallville wrote:Macbook pro late '13 and yeah, big hardware like ipads, phones and computers are always in September, was realllllyyyyy hoping for the new watch to be announced thoughR. Haha, even with it being midnight, the theater was literally PACKED.. Like, there wasn't even 1 seat available so everyone's collective screaming fucked my ears.pretzeltime wrote:endorse all of this. the 40+ yr old inside my mid-twenties body is not here for a late night movie.ponderingmeerkat wrote:See, the key is to find one of those bougie, fancy movie theaters with leather recliners that serve booze. Right? I'm not doing screaming babies. I'm not doing "I talk at the screen" crazy people. I'm not doing teenage make out sesh in front of me.pretzel time wrote: endorse all of this. the 40+ yr old inside my mid-twenties body is not here for a late night movie.

I'm willing to pay 15 bucks for a movie ticket that entitles me and the Frau to reserved seating with plush, luxurious recliners, and regularly dispensed micro-brews. Call me elitist. Zero fucks given.

yeah prob, all hardware is normally in September, they wont mention a processor if they arent going to be releasing the laptop itself (otherwise what will they have to say when they actually release/announce it? :pTheMikey wrote:Yeah, I'm surprised the watch wasn't mentioned at least. TheMikey probably drinks a bunch of beer, but when he wants a cocktail, he'll get a rum and coke or a LIIT
Pretzal is most definitely a Cosmo, but will make home-made margaritas every time she remembers their existence
henny: cocaine, molly, and redbull. no actual henny.

I put in my 2nd deposit at UNC a couple days ago. If I end up getting better score this time, am I too late to negotiate for better scholarship? I plan to cancel my enrollment and apply to better schools on next cycle if I score significantly higher on the June administration. Maybe I can use this as a leverage for higher scholly? Or am I pretty much a done deal at this point?

People have used this as leverage in the past. I think it's worth a try.CPAlawHopefu wrote:I put in my 2nd deposit at UNC a couple days ago.
